About

Things I'm into: deviled eggs, playlists, breakfast for dinner, live music, jaywalking, NPR, the internet & rooftop views. I am currently available to be the bassist for your next air band in the hours I'm not being a designer at AKQA. Or we could go out for pho/kbbq, your call.

One of the things I love the most about this song is how languidly it’s sung. Syllables and words stretched and left to breathe and hang in the air. I find it hard to be impatient when those first five notes and the double-tap of the snare are heard. Can you imagine listening to this live in one of those supper clubs where two-top tables face the floor-level stage and the music stands have those covers with the band’s initials on it? Oh I love it. And I’m going to listen to it again.
