Enjoying listening to The xx’s sophomore album “Coexist” on Spotify today. It feels a bit more naked than the first, but I’m digging it nonetheless. Pseudo-descriptive adjectives: warm, intimate, breezy, shadow-like, subtle. Anyways. That’s that.

I love the animation transition at 0:23 to the romantic, Art Deco, paper cut style. And coming to think of it, I really really loved this movie as well. Of course the ultimates of my childhood were The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Mulan, The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Hercules I could go on. Though I can tell you with 100% certainty that I’m going to click “Create post” and open a new tab and listen to Disney songs on YouTube for the next hour and smile. I’m also going to have to turn on that space heater over there, the afternoon’s gone cold.

I am so super obsessed with this new iPhone app, cinemagr.am. Above is my first (shoddy & simple & quickly done inside a Starbucks) test of the app and it. is. rad. I want to stop what I’m doing right now and play with this app all afternoon. Maybe on my way home, I’ll try one of the BART.

I’d say that most of the Friendly Fires’s music makes me dance spasm body roll grin moonwalk flail my monkey arms no matter the location or time of day. A chill joy wave like unexpected ice cube down the back! Not sure why I’m in such a pleasant, slap happy mood today. Must be the lack of sleep kickin’ it into HIGH DRIVE!
